Somebody's Watching Me

Ever wonder why Hermie always likes to hide and refuse to step outta his house? Cos' he is being watched.

Kitten: "Mama, can I have him for dinner?"

Cat: "He's too scrawny. Wait till he grows up."

There you have it....

I am having too much fun at Photofunia, even my hamsters are not spared. :p

Sleepy Face

Baby Mott always have this sleepy face. Probably it's her slit eyes. :p

She's currently the apple of the co-owner's eyes.

Double Trouble

Nowadays, it is 'hammie-see-hammie-do' for the R & R.

Previously we have naughty little Robbie biting the grills for attention. These days, Rubie also follows suit when she see Robbie does it. Double the noise, double the protest. -.-"

You Again

Heh heh, caught Yoshi with the bowl again. It's really becoming his bed now.

"Enough photo-taking of me already!!"

Uh-oh, he's not very happy about the photos.

Self Sufficient

Mochi is very self sufficient. He is seriously military trained... While the rest of the hammies depend on their food bowl to store food/provide food, Mochi is always stuffing his cheek pouches when new rations are given.

He is such a small hammie and with his bloated cheek pouches, he looks like a cobra head. Wahaha.

Surprise Surprise

Oh! What a pleasant discovery! See that?

Couldn't make out what's that lump of things? It's R & R sleeping together!!! Yay!

Well you know Rubie and Robbie always cannot get along together. Since Rubie was introduced to Robbie, they never slept together in a bundle before. Each of them has a rule. "If I sleep on the right, you sleep on the left". So they always divide the cage territory for their sleep. Wow, so now they are getting more accommodating to each other. It's a good sign. :)

When I'm Gone

My little nest maker passed away yesterday night around 10pm plus. He is 2yrs 3mths old.

I noticed Stubby was limping around trying to find a place to sleep. It was unusual for him cause he wasn't that weak. Unknown to us, he was actually trying to find his resting place. Eventually when I touched him, he didn't jump up like he used to and I knew his time was up.

When both of us pat his head, he opened his eyes one last time and looked at us, seemingly telling us: "Don't worry, my time is up." and he switched to his sleeping mode again. By then, the co-owner was sobbing away. We kept vigilant over him and he obviously didn't like us watching his last moment. So when he was about to leave, he crawled into his nest, half covered his body and stop breathing. His death was a peaceful and painless one. I am happy for him cos' he lived well.

And when I'm gone, just carry on, don't mourn

Rejoice everytime you hear the sound of my voice

Just know that I'm looking down on you smiling

And I don't feel a thing, so baby don't feel the pain

Just smile back

Cutness Overload

When I saw this picture, I couldn't help but keep on smiling despite knowing the hamster is sick. So cute! I guess that is the cutest medical invention ever created. :p The ham obviously didn't like it though. (^.^)

Taken from my fav. online shop blog Shana Logic which in turn took it from Cute Overload!

Check out the Pocket Pets section. It has tons of very x 100 cute photos. That's it, I am sooooo bookmarking it. (^^)v

Lazy Saturday Afternoon Part II

The robos R&R too had a lazy afternoon. And they lazed in the same way as well...

This is Robbie enjoying his laze up at the balcony.

Notice a copycat behind? That's Rubie. Hamster see hamster do eh?

But Robbie doesn't care.

Hmmm, pure laziness. They are wide awake but they slack like the day is long.

Lazy Saturday Afternoon Part I

We let Stubby out to the playpen this afternoon. But instead, he found something else to do.

"Stubby, come out and go back home..."

"Who's calling me???"

*Grumbles* "What you want?"

"Get a life, I'm going back to my afternoon nap!"

And with this, he slept from 3pm to 6pm before he came out and asked to be picked home. (-.-)'
