Baby Mott likes to hide in her house. She seldom comes down or sleep at the lower floor. But when she heard us calling her, she will peek out from her house window, which is a small circular opening. Super cute. Then again, I wonder why all my motted hammies love to hide. Hermie also hide all day long when he was a baby. Now Baby Mott follows suit. And best of all, the 2 of them likes to pee in the foodbowl aka toilet bowl. What the??!!

Nikole is becoming too anti social (hides in her igloo whole day) and becoming fat, I'm so worried about her now. :( gonna try to add some furniture to her cage tonight to make it more interesting for her
Yup, same as Hermie. Probably the fore-fathers of motted WWs taught them to be hermit and pee in the foodbowl. Hermie & Baby Mott are not bought at the same time, yet they shared similar traits. *faints*
How old is Nikole? Hamlet also hides in her home, only comes out at night.

Motted is used to describe a kind of fur coat. Their fur is spotted with one or two colors, usually black/brown/white. Motted WWs are hybrid.

Oh dear. But I hope syrians will be stronger than dwarfs. Nikole looks healthy in the photo, hope she is just being lazy for a while. I guess at one point in time, hamsters will stop running the wheel & sleep more, especially when they are getting on age.
